An artistic, sexually brutal, mentally disturbing, emotionally cathartic and politically charged approach to hot topic's that merges reality with absurdism. In the end, Johnson leaves the audience with a feeling of redemption. ... full review

One of the best shows I've seen all year, let alone at Hollywood Fringe!... full review

I clocked this at 45 minutes, not the 65 which is advertised---but that's OK, because enough IS enough! A "children's-show" concept, smartly subverted to non-stop mayhem, veering between vile and vulgar, wears out its welcome, no matter how adept the cast (very!) or how attractive the mounting. The real STAR is not ON the stage but in front of it: Ryan Beveridge, the "foley artist" who orchestrates and melds sound effects and a few musical instruments into a river of aural accompaniment on which the show glides and crests. I had a great time at this show! I was laughing out loud throughout and so was the rest of the audience. It was raucous and playful and such a treat to see. The director and cast really made this material come to life in just the right way.... full review

Punch And Judy is phenomenal! Congratulations to Ryan Beveridge, the production's Foley Artist/Percussion/Sound Designer who supports and lifts the entire ensemble. The cast is fantastic, but Jimmy Slonina is the standout as Punch. His performance alone makes this show a must-see, but fortunately the rest of the ensemble are so strong and grounded that they balance out Slonina's manic energy. Christopher Johnson's direction and Jen Albert's fight choreography pull off what could very easily have devolved into a physical comedy showcase, and instead have created a highly entertaining satire. Punch And Judy is polished, clever, and the special attention to detail makes this show truly one-of-kind and not to be missed at this year's Fringe.... full review
