What I liked

Everything. Just a fun, wild romp. A fun time at the theatre. The extra added show was filled and the audience loved it. Seemed to be repeat attendees! Loved the relationship between the lovely, hopeful Petunia and her gorgeous, love-sick sidekick Panther as they strive to escape Thug Tunnel. A standout thug was “Stabby Rick” and the blind narrator named Trash with a pet rat also gave a cool performance.

Dystopian stories are getting cliched but Thug Tunnel felt fresh and fun to me. Grungy costumes were great. The ensemble were all terrific too.

What I didn't like

Wish it were longer. I’d see a full scale, 2 act production.

My overall impression

A fun musical with clever lyrics and characters. Reminded me of the spirit of “Urinetown”. Had a really good time! Kudos to the whole team! I hope it has a larger life outside Fringe!
