Great family fun! I took all 4 of our kids (between 12-15), and my mother-in-law, and they all loved it. There were a few parts that were a little racy for the 12 year olds (language, sexual references), but nothing they couldn't handle. Actually it helped them enjoy it more :-).
Seven of us went altogether, including 1 very reluctant 15 year old. Everyone loved it. A really fun show, well-acted, creative and just an all around great time....

One of those rare delights. The musical itself far exceeds it's source material. This particular production is wildly clever in it's design, direction and casting. The performances were delightful. Everyone...everyone involved with this production should be extremely proud. Top-notch. Try to see it as many times as you can before the end of the run. Cross your paws for a hold-over....

The Toxic Avenger is the epitome of a geek turned hero story in the most unconventional, and yet, most New Jersey way. The Toxic Avenger: The Musical turns this unconventional geek to hero story in a rock musical filled with toxic waste, crime, and love. Set in the Tromaville, a toxic waste-ridden town off the New Jersey Turnpike, Melvin Ferd the Third, the biggest nerd in town, wants to clean up the streets and rid the town of its toxic nature. Melvin is but a huge geek in love with the town librarian Sarah, who happens to be blind. When the mayor of Tromaville discovers that Melvin knows she is behind all of the toxic waste, she sets her minions out to scare Melvin into dropping his quest to clean up Tromaville. Unfortunately, being a ...

A nerdy earth scientist named Melvin falls in love with Sarah, a blind librarian. The romance is cut short when Melvin is dumped into a vat of toxic goo; turning him into a mutant with a six pack.
Drats!
Toxie then goes off on a rampage around town to take down the mayor’s evil toxicity plans and impress Sarah. The Toxic Avenger Musical premiered Off-Broadway in 2009 to mixed reviews, and is now receiving the Hollywood Fringe treatment thanks to Good People Theatre Company.
The Toxic Avenger Musical is by far the most polished musical at this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival. Not because it has already been published, instead of it being a new work (like most fringe shows.) It’s slick because it’s in the hands of Director, Janet Mil...

Janet Miller nailed it. Excellently produced, directed and choreographed. A crazy premise that makes for a riotous evening of exquisite comic timing delivered by a perfectly cast troop. Seamless in its delivery and perfectly zany. Each and every cast member is a jewel. A hilarious experience in an alternative reality complemented by Corey Hirsch musicians and the entire production staff from costumers to crew (some of whom turned into delightful performers as well!). A must go-see. Tell you friends. Beg for the show to be extended!...
