The story felt fresh and new, but also classic. All of the characters were extremely well defined and the actors made them feel genuine and real. The minimalist design and the use of the space made you feel like you were with the crew on the boat. The songs were beautiful. I enjoyed Bound from beginning to end. I didn’t want it to end. There's nothing better in black box theatre than for a setless, soundless, sparse as hell space to be transformed into a living, breathing world--in this case, a fishing ship--merely through suggestion.
