"Bound" was emotionally intense, imaginative and immersive. The actors were able to create a rich, fictional world with just a handful of stage props and well choreographed blocking. They turned the intimate blackbox theater into a sea-bound fishing vessel, ripe with personal and collective struggles. The ensemble cast had great chemistry; each character was nuanced and well-fleshed out. I wasn't quite sure where the ship was heading, but I was excited to follow these fishermen as they navigated the emotional complexity of their precarious profession....

Funny at times, sad at times, but overall quite riveting. All the actors did a great job of immersing you in this world that most of us aren't familiar with and making you feel a variety of emotions. Well done!...

The story felt fresh and new, but also classic. All of the characters were extremely well defined and the actors made them feel genuine and real. The minimalist design and the use of the space made you feel like you were with the crew on the boat. The songs were beautiful. I enjoyed Bound from beginning to end. I didn’t want it to end.
