What I liked
Vanessa’s acting is wickedly brilliant! With laser focus she masterfully takes us on a comedic journey of emotional low’s and highs through her life’s sexual impoverishment. She has written and artistically delivers a rich emotional odyssey showcasing her life on a child-to-adult roller-coaster hoot. American Man Dream is a testimony to her remarkable writing, production and acting skills. Stay tuned . . . I’m certain we’ll be superbly entertained with her next play or sitcom. Undoubtedly, it will be a masterpiece taking us on a laugh-a-minute, gut busting interlude where time stops and our cheeks hurt from laughing so hard.
What I didn't like
Her Gigantic Teddy Bear (stuffed animal prop) should have a REAL guy inside for the last scene !
My overall impression
I was captivated by Vanessa’s emotional honestly in her writing and acting. Her cherubic grin fills the theater with a larger than life glowing personality. The range of emotions she masterfully navigates in her American Man Dream is deserving of Sundance caliber recognition. Highly recommended !
