What I liked
I liked that the show took a serious matter and a heartbreaking story and added the element of comedy to it. The play is truly an original. Based on Blackfish, the writer had the creativity to create a play that both further brings attention to the captivity of orca whales and builds upon true events to tell an interesting and compelling story.

My overall impression
Brett Epstein is an amazing writer and his idea to convert this tragedy into a comedy piece (with serious elements) pushes the boundaries of live theater. The actors are fantastic and each one of them transformed the theatrical space in which they performed. This play is a must see!
