What I liked

I think overall the piece was very interesting. There was a unique mix of what I thought were genuine comedic beats throughout a story that seemed predominantly dramatic. Though this was admitedly confusing at times. A few of these instances in the midst of such a tragic kidnapping was bizarrely humorous, but it was sandwiched by dramtic scenes, making it awkward. I also observed some absurdist tendencies, like lapses in rules and logic that added to my percieved elements of humor. I wish I could have talked with the director afterwords to pick him and the actors’ brains!

What I didn't like

I would reccomend billing the play as a comedy or a dramedy because of what I thought were competing tones.

My overall impression

A solid piece
