What I liked
Move aside “The Shadow,” Carroll John Daly’s “Lone Wolf,” and “Dirty Harry,” there’s a new Blue Avenger in town: “The Lamprey!” LAMPREY: WEEKEND FOR VENGEANCE with Lynn Alvarado as “The Lamprey” and with a great supporting cast is a must-see play! Hopefully, it will find an extended run after the Fringe closes.
What I didn't like
Well, the sound effects were out of sync, like gun shots continuing after the gun has been lowered, but the cast turned such incidents into high comic relief, so maybe the sound effect “miscues” were planned…?
My overall impression
A truly memorable performance by Lynn Alvarado insures “The Lamprey” a permanent place in Hollywood Fringe Festival lore!
