Matt Ritchey and Benjamin Schwartz have teamed up to write a highly successful blend of Noir and Comedy augmented by Burlesque and live music. Schwartz seems able to do justice to whatever genre he wants to write, between his Tarantinoesque "Zip Ties" in 2015 and now "Angel's Flight", 'noir at the bar' as they call it. With an intricate plot, snappy dialogue, laughs from beginning to end, Director/Writer Ritchey has put up a stylishly Noir production, perfectly cast. From the very first moment I knew I was in for a treat. Schoen Hodges as Duff in his fedora and trench coat, along with the two seedy cops aptly played by David Garber and Benjamin Schwartz, pull us right into the Sam Spade era. The ladies from Cherry Poppins add the gli... full review

Holy crap, I loved this play! I had no idea what I was going to see, but it was everything I didn't know I wanted it to be and more. If you like laughing, bawdy jokes, and sequins, you will love this show. I seriously can't say enough good things about this show. Go see it or I'll slap you with a fish. ... full review

It was a lukewarm night in the city if broken dreams when I decided to stumble into the 3 of clubs. The lights were set to the period and the actors were all in the mood to groove. I watched the show, eyes fixated on the boozy lead, stumbling through classic troupe after another. The lava lamp of lights and sounds sucked me into a blur of nostalgia and puns that I haven't felt since my 5th grade science class. And I mean that in the best damn way. If I had a drink for every laugh I would have been just as drunk as any day ending in y. A hard boiled script and very on game directing made this who dunnit a pure delight, unlike my divorce from Mary St.James....but no need to go into that humdinger. My eyes weeped, my lips quivered and I laugh... full review

It is very well cast. Everyone gives 100% and is so committed to the style. Sarah Haworth, Schoen Hodges and Alli Miller are all terrific in their roles, and my god, the costumes! (That shouldn't have been in the same sentence, but I just remembered how amazing they were as I was typing.) Matt Ritchey has done an excellent job orchestrating quite a large cast and playing to all of their strengths. Also, there is much movement, and it is all purposeful. None of it is extraneous. Ben Schwartz and Matt Ritchey have written a very witty, exciting script and story. I love watching the Cherry Poppins girls do just about anything, but this was a unique light to see them in, and it was great! Go see this show! ... full review

If you are a fan of the film noir genre this is a must see show, it's got jokes, comedy, mystery, dancing, sexy dancing it's got it all! From the opening credits that rival "Deadpool" in it's meta use of the form this is a non-stop joke machine!... full review
