I had a fantastic time at The Princes Charming! Smart, Fast and many times very broad- this show was a laugh riot. The cast was fully committed, the direction clever, and the play itself- despite the broad humor, carried some very important messages without nailing you over the head with them (except when nailing themselves over the head). This reminded me of an early Christopher Durang play (his one-act years in college) mixed with "The Ugly Duckling". The Princes' Charming is a very wacky, screwy take on the fairytale genre, with plenty of Monty Python-like devices that remind the audience to not take it seriously. Great cast, fast-paced direction, memorable characters, Princes Charming delivers exactly what you expect it to, as it should! It a little while to get going, but then skyrockets from there! Bob is a gem, and repeatedly steals the show. But great performances all around. Super fun and totally worth checking out! ... full review
