My overall impression
SHINY WHITE DIAMONDS is certainly an interesting piece of theater. After all, how many plays have a large white dummy as a character? Unfortunately, interesting only goes so far and the actual storytelling never manages to surpass its own premise. Fortunately the intriguing, kinetic tone of the play keeps the audience drawn in and the likable cast, dummy and all, make the journey worthwhile.
