Rhodri miles is a wonderful Richard Burton--only much more handsome. I enjoyed learning about the history of Burton. I'd love to see some recreations thrown into this piece, perhaps interaction with the first wife and an agent. It would give this fine actor a bit more to do....

Rhodri Miles knocked it out of the park tonight with his glorious portrayal of Richard Burton. At one point he gave a bit of a Shakespearean that made me close my eyes and enjoy the thorough beauty of his voice and mastery of LANGUAGE. ...

More often than not I lost track of the fact that the man in front of me was not actually Richard Burton. (Which is a tribute to the performance given that that actor much more strongly resembles Marlon Brando.)
The rhythm of the show becomes a bit repetitive. And I would have enjoyed more of an overall dramatic movement to the piece. Or even a specific reason that Sir Richard Burton was relating his life's history to us.

His talent ooooooozes onto the stage with charm and sophistication! It is beautiful and infectious and you can't keep your eyes off of him or shall I say off of Richard Burton...who he plays perfectly! It is a journey into old Hollywood and it is brilliantly done! He has you lauhging out loud and truly touches you too! I found my self profoundly sad because this amazing man, Richard Burton...was so talented and so sad that he drank his life away! It is so relevant to the times and boy does he get you! Go see this show! NOW! ...

The audience was involved in the story, as most of us were middle aged, and had grown up seeing Richard and Liz from a distance. It was great hearing about it from the other side. A delicate and nuanced portrayal of Mr. Burton's life. You will find yourself mistaking Mr. Miles for the late Mr. Burton. The rhythem of the show is lanquid but the actor's assuredness makes it feel like an intimate evening shared as Burton steadies his nerves with the drink that destroyed he physical being.
The evening is to be savored and Rhondi Miles performance is subtly outstanding
