My overall impression
More often than not I lost track of the fact that the man in front of me was not actually Richard Burton. (Which is a tribute to the performance given that that actor much more strongly resembles Marlon Brando.)
The rhythm of the show becomes a bit repetitive. And I would have enjoyed more of an overall dramatic movement to the piece. Or even a specific reason that Sir Richard Burton was relating his life’s history to us.
But I was an extremely enjoyable show none-the-less.
