This was a great combination of writing, direction and performance. Can't believe I hadn't heard of this playwright before. Sometimes you can say more with less, and this would be a great example....

Paul Dillon is the man.
That's it.
You won't find a more brilliant actor anywhere in this town.
He can take a piece like this, which in the hands of someone lesser
abilities could be a tedious evening and turns it into a celebration of what it is we do as actors. His timing and delivery leave you wanting more.
This should be required viewing for anyone doing a one person show,

as much as i respect winning an edinburgh "fringe first" award, i just hate solo shows that are about NOTHING (have neither a compelling story nor an interesting perspective on life), offer the audience NOTHING (only an arid technical conceit on performance), and over and over again, invite the audience to leave the theater. so thank you very much, boys, I DID....
