Straitjacket Society Sketch Comedy

I admit, I have been jaded about sketch comedy for some time now. Very little of it really entertains me. I went to this with a friend because it filled the gap in our schedule - and I was Really happy I did. They were funny, focused, smart, and played to their audience. This is some of the best sketch comedy I have seen in ... too many years to count. Well done.... full review

Sometimes you can really luck out at a Fringe Festival without any plan whatsoever. Such was my experience when, on what amounted to a moment's consideration, I bought a ticket for a sketch comedy group I wasn't familiar with and sat down for a show about which I had no expectations. The seat was comfortable and the temperature pleasant, so the worst case would still be fine I thought. No sooner did the lights come up than I started laughing, not stopping for any meaningful length of time until after the last bit was played. The only negative comment I can offer is that each of their shows during Fringe is a different slate, so you dear reader will not get to see the show I enjoyed.
