In a town of artifice, half-truths, and make-believe (both on- and off-stage), real moments of brutal honesty and ego-less vulnerability are all too rare, and the result is striking.
Her story is thrilling, hilarious, horrifying, and painful. And even though it is a de facto true story straight from the source, the telling is artfully constructed and it rides like a roller coaster.
Donna has overcome extraordinary trials. Now she turns her past to face us, like a beast on display, harnessed and broken by its master. It's especially stunning, since, for too many of us, it's the other way around....

Wonderfully conceived and performed. In a short 30 minutes of mostly comedy, there are some genuinely moving and touching moments. Look forward to seeing this morph into a longer one-woman show, or better yet full length play....

It was an emotional rollercoaster as Donna Thomas takes you on the most unexpected journey you could possibly imagine. I would highly recommend anyone that has not seen the show to catch the final show this Thursday....
