This was a triumph, both for America the cast, crew, producers and director of this Tracers performance. it personified the very fabric of the American spirit and the shattering thereof and whence forth due to the mellowing of the American dream. I saw the play last week and were so touched by it that I went back to see it a second time. The show is just AMAZING!!! The very talented cast take us on a journey so authentic and moving, that it made me leave the theatre with all kind of emotions. The show has everything! I attended a performance of Tracers on Thursday night. I had no idea what I was in for, but am so happy I went (albeit, hungover). I was absolutely enthralled with this production. The set was awesome. The lighting and sound design were on point. The subtle nuances of each character were skillfully portrayed. I really don't know what else to say. It's the kind of production where you can just tell that the actors have a strong emotional tie with the script and the character they play. That love shines through. TRACERS is a keenly felt piece about the physical, psychological, and emotional toll of war on Vietnam-era soldiers. This was by far one of the best musical genre of my generation depicting the Vietnam War.The actors made you fell like it was happening all over again.There portrail of real US soldiers fighting in the Vietnam War was so believable and so good it reminded me how young they were.Kill or be kill.That is why I'm so reminded what those young soldiers did for the U.S.A. no questions just action. ... full review

As a Vietnam vet's daughter, I am drawn to the unusually creative and lyrical yet visceral depiction of the soldier's experience of Vietnam, from boot camp to coming home and beyond. Absolutely the best theatre I've seen in L.A. One of the most amazing pieces of theatre I've ever seen on either coast. It could go to off-Broadway as it is. Every actor is solid, not a false note.
