The Good Woman of Setzuan

Excellent Theatre Production! So many beautiful elements from the projections to the lighting and sound design, costumes and make-up. All of the elements of the show blew me away. I was enthralled by the performances especially of the lead Actress, and the ensemble was delightful. A great show about what it takes to be good in society, completely relevant in todays culture. This is a beautifully realized production of Brecht's masterpiece about how difficult it is to be good in a world that seems to more frequently reward bad. The acting is top-notch all around, but Lauren Lovett in particular stands out. From the costumes (credit Christina Wright) to the music (credit Dean Mora) to the superb direction (credit Charlie Otte) this is Brecht done right. I highly recommend this show. ... full review
