This is a really fun show with some amazing fight scenes! The best part? ..The direction of the show is decided by the audience, so the outcome varies from show to show, making it exciting no matter how many times you see it....

Watching this show as an actor had me wishing I was up there. Such strong female characters! If you have not seen this show already you must do so. Such a goofy/enjoyable time. The combat was insane. The actors went full out. The improv was hilarious. Way worth your time and money. Go support! They are onto something....

MB Stage nailed it this year with The Video Games and California Kiki. Congrats to everyone involved. How could one not like The Video Games?! The actors drew you in right from when you enter the line to see the performance. You are greeted by your childhood favorites who are rallying for votes. The technical aspects of the show helped create the world these characters lived in for that 60 minutes. Yoshi on keys was my favorite thing ever and I loved having live accompaniment playing the songs I know all too well. Seeing actual costumes and actual makeup just added to the amazingness that the show is. The actors were so invested and I felt bad when someone died. I wish I could have saved them all. Major kudos to creators. JP as Mario was EVE...

I studied stage combat at school so having a show entirely based on the art was great. Some of those final kills were brutal. The entire cast as an ensemble was flawless. They all worked really well together to present an award worthy show. I loved having the feeling of power as I was in charge of creating what was happening right in front of me. There was absolutely no way that entire show was scripted! That would have been near impossible. I know that those actors were creating the story at the drop of a hat. Improvised to the fullest and those were some smart actors. Their punch lines were hilarious. You could tell that a lot of them (especially the hosts) were doing their research, adding what was trending on social media to amplify our ...

This is the show to which you go tipsy and have a great time. If you're a seasoned gamer, you'll enjoy the homework that the cast and direction have done to make this a love letter to 20-somethings who grew up with a gamepad in their grubby hands. I saw Megaman assume his "taking damage frame" from the original game and Donkey Kong use his down+B ground pound from Super Smash Bros. Melee. There are probably more easter eggs in the choreography but I was too busy trying to frantically vote for my favorite characters to catch some of the fights. Fun show with multiple endings....

I very much enjoyed The Video Games. I went on the last night and there was so much energy. It was a different kind of show and that's what made it so awesome! The involvement with the crowd was great. I really enjoyed Pikachu and Donkey Kong because I grew up watching Pokemon and playing Donkey Kong. The Lara Croft character was pretty entertaining as well, had some funny moments. Also, the Scorpion and Lara Croft fight was on point, awesome fatality!...

I'm not even a big gamer but I enjoyed the hell out of this show, the fights are fun, the characters die glorious deaths at the whims of the audience. It's like you're a Roman Senator. A Roman Senator. Think about that. But anyway see this show because it's so much fun!...

An amazingly innovative piece of theater. While normally I'm a little wary of audience participation, this is the kind of show that you can't help but want to be a part of. I loved every moment of it. The hosts were fantastic and engaging, and the tributes were all very skilled and made you want to root for them. Loved it! ...
