“Fuck you Jason! or Medea by Euripides” begins with the ancient Greek tale audiences have grown to love for thousands of years. Medea is the original gone girl. In the beginning of Medea and Jason’s love story, Medea does everything possible to keep her man, even if it includes killing for her man. She is wronged by everyone from Creon to Jason and promises revenge on all who wronged her. This Medea is one for the ages. With a mix of ancient Greek story-telling, modern theatrical spectacle, and stylized with a bit of graphic novel edge to it, “Fuck you Jason! or Medea by Euripides”, is a true battle of the sexes for all time, or if nothing else, Greek Theatre.
