A fun and relevant series of sketches that totally held my attention - witty, fresh, topical and unexpected. The all-female cast plays men and women of all sorts dealing with harrassment - the opening monologue by a young man trying to pick up a young woman who wanted nothing to do with him was patricularly well written and performed and set the serious/funny tone for the rest of the evening. Well done!... full review

This show was pleasantly poignant and had my sides aching with laughter. The uncomfortable situations served up by these talented and lovely ladies are seasoned with delightful wit and a fulfilling helping of blunt reality and not-too-subtle sarcasm. Thanks for the great show!... full review

Smile, Baby is a terrific show. Funny and biting by turns, it provided me with both nod-along moments and outrageous laughter. The fashion show alone was a moment of brilliance. Very well done - a must-see!... full review

I really like it when shows spend thought on their social impact. This one absolutely does!... full review

A very funny and clever show. Thought provoking. Made me uncomfortable at times, but rang with truth. Helped to see the female perspective of "innocent" cat calls and the way (other) men view/treat women. Lots of laughs. Outstanding actresses. Great writing and direction. Recommend. ... full review

Easily my favorite show that I saw during the Fringe Festival. I was thrilled that they will be doing an Encore performance and I hope everyone will go. I don't know where to start...the writing was great. Funny, relevant and everything in between. And I absolutely adored all the actors, in particular Madison Shepard and Molly Joy Wixson. I can't wait to see more from these ladies!... full review

Smile, Baby is a tasty little sketch comedy piece about street harassment and being a woman. The subject matter is so relevant and honest that you may want to cry rather than laugh. Don't worry though, these actors are experts at satire. I especially enjoyed Linda Serrato-Ybarra's performance as Kevin, that one dude who always wants to make sure you get home safe. A great script by Savannah Dooley covers a range of experiences women can relate to and contextualizes them in a way that will make everyone listen. Go see this show!! Now!... full review

Loved. This. Show. Loved the characters, the pace, the structure. And it was wonderful to experience a treatment of this icky issue (that women deal with all the dang time) that was very on-point, but also fresh and funny in all the right ways. (Feminism can be funny...!! Surprise!!) Extremely happy to hear it got an extension and will be bringing my nieces, who live this reality all the time. ... full review

The Fringe Festival is now over and I still feel compelled to write a review of "Smile, Baby" A dark comedy of vignettes that had me run the spectrum of emotions: from laughing to tensing up to relatable danger. But what I loved most of all was how it had me thinking about the show (and the world we live in) afterwards. I found myself referencing (a very outrageous / awesome costume I don't want to spoil the surprise of here) to friends in conversation over the weekend and thinking about how much Savannah Dooley's writing nailed women...and basically humankind with her funny, vulnerable, flawed, complex characters and world. I want to see it again to find new things stand out. I think they're doing some Encores...if so, go see it!... full review
