Last year's Fest favorite is back, intact but 43% longer, the better to bolster it's (off-off-)Broadway ambitions, with a new side-trip to THE WEST SIDE STORY and a soupcon of HAMILTON. It will probably delight Musical Theater wonks on the Other Coast next month, although it's still a slender, one-dimensional thread on which to hang some spiffy song parodies of Broadway icons. It's lucky to have a uniformly splendid cast (especially ALLIE COSTA as a beleaguered ANNIE). The Main Miscalculation is a wild overuse of chemical smoke---a pointless nuisance, without warning---which swamps the stage and saturates the sinuses of the audience all evening long! Why? ...
