I loved the concept that became real at end which was killing off your competition to get to Broadway. ...oh and how Annie finally asked the question ......why did you do this? ... full review

Last year's Alien vs. Musical was one of the highlights of the festival for me, so when I heard that a longer, full version of the show was happening this year--let's just say this was one of the first tickets I snagged when they went on sale. I wanted to be thrilled all over again. I wanted the additions to be as exciting and surprising and fun as I had found the original show to be last year. And, frankly, I wanted to see how much I enjoyed the original show parts the second time around. I'm very, very happy to say that 99% of the time, my desires and hopes were realized. Everything I loved last year remains just as much fun this time around. The songs, the performances, the giggly nature of seeing an Alien wipe out musical character... full review

It was a fun night of theatre, but the show needs more work to give it that extra oomph to be really amazing! ... full review

The show is enjoyable and I see what they want to make it overall. The choreography is clever (nice musical theater nods, jazz hands and all) and the lyrics are smart. Stand outs were Levanna, Allie (steals the show as Annie) and Suzanne. I have no doubt you will be entertained especially if you are a fan of musicals however, there is room for improvement. ... full review

I was able to see this show last year and even though I know nobody in this cast or have any connection to the show, I feel this amazing sense of being so proud of them. From what I saw last year to this year, it brought a tear to my eye. A bigger space, a bigger show, a live band, etc. It's amazing what has been done in the last year and am so excited for this cast. This is a must see! If you saw it last year, you definitely should see it this year, it's magical. More songs, more scenes, more musicals! I laughed until I had tears in my eyes. Job well done! I can only hope it keeps growing!... full review

While I can't say I got bored, the show by nature is redundant, and the tunes aren't so clever that it made my ears prick up. The hardworking cast is having a blast (I especially liked Annie), but there's an amateurish quality that keeps this Fringebound for life. Yes, it's all silly fun, but my god what this show could be with more depth of story and character development. No one will be disappointed by seeing it.... full review

Set in the “Land of Musicals” with characters from hit musicals like the Sound of Music, Rent, Les Misérables, and Annie, Alien vs. Musical is the story of a mysterious egg, the laughter, singing, and chaos that ensues after the egg is hatched and of course the unrelenting desire to be a star on Broadway. As the story opens, we meet a bunch of friends from all of the land of musicals who each seems to have a deeper unexplored story that led them away from the musical life they once knew and found themselves in a group of unlikely friends. Today is Effie’s (Dreamgirls) birthday and Annie (Annie) has found an interesting egg that she thinks would be a perfect gift. Unfortunately, the egg hatches and turns out to be a murderous Alien (Aliens ... full review
