My overall impression
Wow, this show is superb! I was able to squeeze into the sold-out theatre to see it last night and it did not disappoint! I must admit that my Shakespeare is quite rusty, so I was a bit worried whether I would be able to follow along. I had nothing to be nervous about though, because the all-female cast had such a command and strong understanding of the language, that I understood everything that was going on. Brilliant acting by the entire ensemble and perfectly directed/staged. This is probably some of the strongest acting I have ever seen at Fringe. I must add that I can’t believe how well BDSM and Taming Of The Shrew go together. From now on, I won’t be able to view Shrew any other way. I know the Bard himself would approve!
