If anyone ever tries to tell you that LA theater sucks, just send them to see the next available Four Clowns production. The Four Clowns are a shining example of how it is absolutely possible to deliver great, live entertainment with top notch actors and performers on a shoestring budget. The Halfwits Last Hurrah is an absolute gem. Joyously hilarious from start to finish as well as genuinely touching and heartfelt, I had a smile on my face the entire night. You will laugh and you will cry and that's no joke. The entire cast was tremendous and full of infectious fun. I particularly enjoyed the comic stylings of Don Colliver and Elizabeth Godley as Butterbeans and Nimrod, the acrobatic double entendres from Dave Honigman and Jennifer Carroll ... full review

This show made me laugh and cry! Due to laughing way too hard. I enjoyed every minute of it. It was refreshing to watch these performers. In a lot of comedy shows, majority of the time it's a forced joke to make the audience laugh. But not these clowns!! They were all funny naturally!! If I could, I would watch it again and again. Great job to everyone involved!!... full review

I expected nothing less than a fantastic show from this wonderfully talented clowning troupe and they delivered it. Adorned with slapstick, one liners, and physical comedy, this vaudeville-esque, melodramatic romp had me laughing and clapping the entire time. Drink before you go. This show benefits from a loose crowd and there's some fun audience interaction. Go early not only to catch a good seat, but to watch the pre-show and get settled in. The performers look like they are having as much fun doing the show as the audience has watching it. Everyone leaves with a smile. Definitely go see it if you can grab a ticket.... full review

Gleeful anarchy! The stage is filled with silliness that frequently spills into the audience. It's a hoot!... full review

This show was my favorite comedic ensemble piece in the Fringe this year! From the moment the clowns give the curtain speech to turn off your cell phones to the very last curtain call, I could not stop laughing. I especially loved the production design and feel of the show. This show is excellently done with wonderful clowning by adept actors, impressive acrobatics, and hysterical writing. I loved every minute of it! The entire cast was extraordinary, but I must say the brother and sister duo were my favorite. Great musical numbers, lovely live singing, committed performances all around. I can't remember laughing that hard at a show...I felt like I was watching a live Mel Brooks film. GO SEE THESE WONDERFUL CLOWNS AND SEE WHAT ALL OF ... full review
