My overall impression
Somehow Writer/Performer Megan Dolan does an entire solo show about her life, framed around food. This turns out to be an extremely creative way to tell her story. Dolan gives accounts of her life as a mother, daughter, and sibling and uses the snacks that were nearby at the time (Ice cream sundaes, Lorna Doone cookies etc) to complete the imagery for the audience. Dolan goes all out with her performance giving us different and weird characters to sell it. Dolan is a talented performer and writer and makes this show funny, endearing, and ridiculous all at the same time.
