My overall impression
I have only two questions after seeing Megan Dolan Wingate in her one woman show, “Snack”: Why the heck aren’t I paying top dollar for this on Broadway? And why did it have to end?
Clearly a brilliant collaboration between Megan and director Chris Game, the writing and acting are so effortless, witty and moving. I would rank this as one of the best shows I’ve seen in ages. SNACK is a signature show for the Hollywood Fringe Festival. And Megan should be brought back often.
Hopefully she puts SNACK up again so more people get a chance to see it. SNACK is simply f-ing great… and everything Los Angeles theatre should be about!
