My overall impression
It is rare to see something totally and completely unique on the LA stage. I have never seen a production with this type of structure. I love the backstory (that seven female playwrites wrote the monologues for the male lead). I literally know nothing about Taylor Swift – I don’t even know her music. But this was RIVETING. The lead, Tad Shafer, is mesmerizing and skilled and hot and embodies all 7 of her exes (I know those guys). Loved every second and can’t wait to see where it heads!
