Articulate. Hilarious. Honest.
I was lucky enough to see Jennifer Jasper’s opening night performance of I Can Hear You...But I’m Not Listening on Thursday at Theatre of Note in Hollywood.
The show is a collection of family stories about Jennifer Jasper, (the middle daughter of five girls) who didn’t talk until she was three and when she finally did, no one could understand what she said. Not even her mother.
It was a fun, dysfunctional, sometimes dark, and bold ride. Just like family.
You should see this show to witness how beautifully Jennifer paints vivid pictures with words. This girl obviously reads a lot.

Jasper is a powerful performer with almost perfect comedic timing. She can make you laugh and cringe at the same time as she recounts the struggles and triumphs of her story.
