My overall impression
what a sweet, sincere character. it was so refreshing to see a man, portraying a woman, and not being just one joke. darlene is sweet, has a lot to say, and the comedy is smart… different. i was taken by her. I’m definitely glad i showed up. slow, smart comedy… charming, delightful, and fun. great details in the text, too. next time, darlene gets a set… and props… or put her on a kid’s show and let’s just listen to her lessons. regardless, i’d like to see Darlene in some more situations. She’s like Fancy’s distant cousin on her father’s side.
