this is the best piece of live theater i've seen so far this year. it's punchy, clever, and hilarious. the performances are deft and the line reading is artfully nuanced and just rolls out in a seemingly casual effervescence. the concept is genius and the script has many shining moments. i was in stitches the whole time. also, the excellent use of lighting, choreography, constant exits and entrances, and minimal set pieces add to the play's brilliant undisguised energy. Women really deserves to be a hit in a full on run. everyone needs to go see this. run!...

'Women' uses its source material well. Very tight performances and quick scenes really move the story from joke to joke in an entirely amusing way. The show very much relies on the predictable cadence of sitcoms, and pairing that with classic literature makes for entertainment a step above. Absolutely fun!...

Women is such a phenomenal show. The talented actresses are perfectly cast. The writing is witty, clever and absolutely hilarious (I was laughing throughout the entire show!). I am a huge fan of Alcott's Little Women and I've seen a number of Girls episodes on HBO, but I feel like even if someone wasn't familiar with either, they would still love every moment of Women (because it's just that good). Easily one of the best things I've seen at the Fringe....
