My overall impression

Wow—what a fabulous performance! This one man show is a must see. Scott Hislop has written such a funny and poignant piece, and he delivers it with panache and wicked comic timing. And then in a heartbeat, his tone is sincere as he revisits some of the more painful moments in his life. I was swept along with the rest of the audience, taking the journey with him, experiencing every moment—one moment smiling, laughing, then intensely silent, and then a great outburst of laughter and applause.
And bonus! He dances and sings, too. Brava, Scott Hislop!
