My overall impression
This is a gem of a one person show and that is seldom the case, but Scott Hislop makes it easy to say. Fast, concise, funny, moving without being self-serving. I was truly delighted and entertained. His writing, in particular, is muscular—his timing dead perfect. It’s odd to try to find words to make this different from being “just a good friend” who likes this guy. But Scott is not a close friend, so I have no reason to get on his good side! Trust me on this. He is a splendid performer. Just splendid.
