Richard Tanner's one man show "Small Parts" is a hysterical look at his life in the acting world. Tanner takes you on an enjoyable ride from his beginnings growing up on Long Island to present day Hollywood. There is never a dull moment in the show. Small Parts is a must see.... full review

This was the best solo show I have ever seen with the funniest and most LOL moments I have had in a theater in a very long time, including fringe, off and off off Broadway and Broadway. I'd like to see Richard ON ON ON Broadway or with his own TV series and I'd like a reoccurring regular role, THANK YOU. dd... full review

"Small Parts" is anything but small. The universality of it's struggle to do what you love can be enjoyed by anyone, whether you're in entertainment or not. Richard Tanner's show doesn't take itself seriously but it serious about what it has to say. Richard is a great performer and has said what he has to say in a funny and engaging way. It is always great fun to see someone reach the peak of their powers, and I think that is what Richard has done with this show. I thank Richard for a great time. ... full review

I laughed, I cried, and I laughed some more. Seriously, Richard Tanner's one-man show, "Small Parts" is hilarious and moving, often painfully so. This seasoned, working actor spills his guts out in a highly polished, multimedia production, exposing his real life triumphs and travails in show business and his personal life. It's edgy, honest and cathartic--all while being funny as hell.... full review

Wonderful! Should be required viewing for all those high school stage-stars hoping to go to the big city and make it big.... full review

Terrific show. If you are not an actor, you will find it funny, enlightening, fast moving and interesting. If you ARE an actor, you will find it all of the above, but also painful at times, very moving a lot of the time, and relatable all the time. It's definitely a good way to spend 70 minutes. ... full review

It's a jam packed show full of surprise. There is literally never a dull moment. Just as you think you know what's happening and another joke (hilarious jokes by the way) is on its way, a toy boat appears and and fills the theatre with pathos as a father and son try mightily to bridge the gap between them. A father and son, I might add, played by fingers and yet somehow not in the least bit silly. It's a fast 70 minutes of truth and it's theatrical to the hilt. Richard wrote a winner. ... full review

In his biggest PART yet, Richard Tanner delivers! He covers so much, so well -- many time frames, many scenarios, many emotions. Sure, it's all about Mr. Tanner, but there is so much for the audience to identify with here. (Don't worry, the "audience participation" is minimal!) Entertaining and moving, this is quite a show. Catch it!... full review

Richard Tanner's evening is just great ! He's beautifully intelligent, funny, quick, smart, warm, witty, and so much more. It would be great to see someone with his talent as writer and actor have his own show on television. What fun it would be to see his rich imagination at work every week. Small Parts is a must see. This is theatre at its very best. Go, by all means, GO!!! George Chakiris ... full review
