My overall impression
If you only see one show in the Fringe Festival – see this one. You are guaranteed to be swept away for an hour listening to a wonderfully written, well-paced, funny, poignant story where you will be deeply touched in moments and laugh out loud in others. Keaton Talmadge is a beautiful, gifted, highly talented actor who has that rare ability to invite you into a performance, and you will love the ride. She is sweet and grounded in her vulnerability and crackles with her comic timing. Good theater in LA is common, great theater is rare, and then there’s Keaton Talmadge’s Define different – which is simply fantastic.
