Ms. Keaton Talmadge is a talented performer, one of the best, but as a writer she is approaching greatness. "Define: Dif-fer-ent" was fun, potent, uplifting, deep and consuming. I do believe that was the fastest hour of the festival. If this doesn't get picked up by some production company Hollywood is losing out. I highly recommend you see her now before you have to pay $200 to see her on Broadway.... full review

I finally caught Keaton's show w-a-y after the fact - in Sept., at The Complex Theaters in "Spumoni" - a three-part curated evening of Best-of-Fringe pieces - all of which I enjoyed. Define Dif-fer-ent is truly different. Keaton is an extremely likable naturalistic actress, and her story is riveting. It is a deeply personal show and yet ultimately theatrical and stageworthy. She takes us into a fascinating world. Huzzah, hurrah, and congratulations!... full review

This is one of the most emotionally honest and gutsy performances that i have had the pleasure of seeing. Although the topic is ostensibly about sexual identity, i think it is more universal than that and is about "love" and how one deals with finding and losing 'the one'. I also think Ms. Talmadge shows an incredible emotional range as she takes us, the audience, through that roller coaster of self discover, love and loss. She is both brave and fierce, vulnerable and strong in bearing her soul in such a raw way. I can't recommend this solo act enough!!! Matthew... full review

SO good! This is the definition of what a one woman show can do-- move you to tears, to laughter, to make you think, to make you smile. Keaton seamlessly weaves in and out of each scene to tell one specific story of falling in and out of love. She uses different theatrical elements like hoola hooping, song, movement, etc, which all are entertaining but more importantly, all help tell the story. So happy I caught this show!... full review

Keaton Talmadge killed it. Her one-woman show is complete, daring, relevant & skillfully executed. A talented actress worthy of her last name, Talmadge deftly hits all beats dramatic & comedic. This was definitely a highlight of the Fest. ... full review

Her dynamic presence on the stage will have you engaged the moment the lights dim and she appears. The direction of the show is flawless.
