Sharp - Smart - Beautiful! The standard fare that we as LA artists and audiences have been fortunate enough to expect from the brilliant Kronis and Alger. This classic text skillfully distilled and adapted by Alger and beautifully and brilliantly realized by Kronis. The cast is up to the challenge and everyone of them deserves a mention. The cast I saw included Jenny Soo, David LM McIntyre, Eric Neil Gutierraz, Justin Okin, Gina Garcia Sharp and Blaire Chandler. Fast, funny and a perfect presentation of a classic. ... full review

Hot Cat is PHENOMENAL!!! It's a twist on a classic Williams piece with a magnificent and super talented ensemble and intense wicked choreography. I was at the edge of my seat the whole time!! Not a dull moment. Do not miss this one! ... full review

HOT CAT is special. Blair Chandler is AMAZING, like, WOAH! Sooooooo stellar! The beauty and acrobatic nature of David Guerra's physical work perfectly communicates Brick's internal struggle. The choreography is inventive, specific and the directing is exquisite. The themes explored are timely and thought-provoking. The script could stand to lose 10 minutes of text to better streamline the throughline. A "must see" at the fringe this year! ... full review

Funny, engaging, and a absurdly original spin on a classic tale. If you haven't seen a Theatre Movement Bazaar piece, GO. This was my first time experiencing this style of theater and I will make sure it is not my last. A demanding physical feat on the performers and a potpourri of genres blended into a beautiful original work. GO!... full review

Very interesting variation on Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. All acting very superb. A particular shout out to Gooper, played by David McIntyre. Also great Big Daddy and Big Mama performances. The dance movements really captured the emotional tone of the play. Terrific choreographing and direction, I thought. Very intense and immediate. ... full review

An inventive and funny exploration of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof that focuses more on the relationship between Big Daddy and Brick than it does on Brick and Maggie's troubled marriage. At tmes the actors, who are all excellent, say more with a choreographed turn of the head than most playwrights can manage with an entire page. Some of the ideas are just brilliant, including Mae walking sideways on a wall as she's eavesdropping. While there's no substitute for Williams' drama undistilled, watching this will add dimensions to the play you may not have known existed. It will also increase your appreciation of the power of the physical gestures, timing and spatial relationships that define the word "theatrical." A strong show from a company which ... full review

So my thing!!, I didn't like it, I absolutely fucking LOVED IT!! I had this moment of panic in the middle of the show, this fleeting realization in between the surprises and the laughter, the absolute razor sharp wit and brilliance, the highly accurate and disciplined ensemble work the cast delivered with the intensity of asian work slaves fighting for the right to live based upon their success upon stage. Mid show I experienced this heart-stopping realization that much too soon, this piece would have to come to an end, even worse, this show would eventually even have to close and I wouldn't be able to see it again. It broke my heart to think than I would have my inaccurate human memory to review what I had experienced with this bulletproo... full review

The play is a refreshing version of one of my favorite play writer, Tennessee William. The play is based on his classic play Cat on a Hot Tin Roof using dance and movement. It deals skillfully not only with alcoholism, but also with complicated and pathetic family relationship. They are faced with inheritance issues and struggle with the taboo of 1950s about homosexuality. Excellent production! Loved it!... full review
