My overall impression
There is a lot of good theatre out there, but #Hashtag is great. The production does such a hilarious job of “holding up the mirror” at behaviors I see, suffer from, and am guilty of, all over the world. Sometimes sad, but always funny. I’m not sure I can call it a satire because so many of even the funniest moments obviously have a basis in reality. Truly an ensemble piece, the director and all of the actors share co-writing credits, so each of the individuals have the opportunities to be who they choose to be and share what they choose to share. Stand-out performances by Spencer and Brian, the two of them on stage together are some of my favorite, most honest parts of the production. If you get the chance, get over there!
