My overall impression

I happen to have seen the opening night of the original Broadway version, featuring Constance Cummings Tony winning performance, and have to say this small theatre,more dance-oriented production compares quite favorably. Rocky Lane is much younger than Ms. Cummings was in 1979, but still brings a truth to the role that nicely grounds this production, and her supporting cast handle both their speaking roles and the movement segments beautifully.
