Me Rich You Learn is an impressive collaboration between director Turner Munch, artistic director and producer Jeremy Aluma, assistant director Raymond Lee, actors Zachary Steele and Adam Carpenter. The timing, the physical choreography and spontaneity, as well as the willingness to play with the audience were all impeccable coming from Mr. Steele and Mr. Carpenter. I was really impressed with how the actors used the audience, encouraging the collective energy and also really letting themselves be at our mercy. I loved the moments of surprise, especially the "weighing" of an audience member on Mr. Steele's stomach! Mr. Carpenter also shines in his character Martin Almond, especially in the very beginning with the beaming support of his frien... full review

I have never seen a Four Clowns show that I didn't leave with a face sore from smiling, and this one did not disappoint. Zach Steele and Adam Carpenter -- or rather TR and Martin, respectively -- play off each other with a level of the classic funny man/straight man routine only achieved by a pair who's worked together for many years (as they have). Clowns are the best. What grander purpose can one strive for than making others laugh? Okay, okay finding a cure for “cancer- Alzheimer’s-the common cold-world hunger-Ann Coulter” would be spiffy, but we’re talking clowns here! Not clowns with multiple PHDs for finding a remedy for cancer, not clowns with a sixteen ton weight handy to drop on Ann Coulter, just your good ol’, God bless ‘em variety of clowns who’ll make you chortle till milk shoots out your proboscis. The Four Clowns Company, a perennial favorite of the Fringe audiences, are back with “Me Rich-You Learn”, a wonderfully wacky romp guaranteed to get the dairy product blasting outa beaks for miles around. The narrative frame of the show has the simplicity of Lego bloc... full review
