I loved the talking dog aspect of it because it broke down all the thoughts the individual was having without just speaking them herself. Also I liked the full breakdown of her life story from beginning to end, it made the whole story fall into place near the end of the show. It allowed the audience to relate in not only her emotional state but personal side to her story.
What I didn't like
Although I felt she did an amazing job, I felt some of the stories came off very scripted. I’m not confident on how to fix or if that would need to be fixed. A good show comes with rehearsing over and over again which can of course come off very scripted because it is.
My overall impression
My overall impression of Blindsided was how impressive an individual can have a comedy show but at the same time address suicidal thoughts and the importance to acknowledging it and bring it to the surface so it can be something people feel comfortable talking about.
