My overall impression

An outstanding musical comedy that far exceeded my highest expectations. The show combines memorable characters from the last 50 years of television (mostly sitcoms). If you watched the shows then, or have seen them on reruns, you are sure to follow along and have a great time. The songs are funny, lively and upbeat (and likely to get stuck in your head). The story is very streamlined, and moves quickly from one song to the next. The cast does a terrific job bringing these characters back exactly as we remember them. Most notably, Alice from the Brady Bunch (though this Alice sings much better). The cast is led by the mom, whose stellar voice and strong stage presence are easily worth the price of admission. Also noteworthy is the daughter, whose effulgent voice was a pleasure to listen to. I will be going back to see it again. Not only to hear the wonderful songs, but amidst the laughter, I may have missed some jokes.
