A trip down memory lane to visit the classic family+housemaid TV shows, presented as a gentle spoof of the conventions of music comedy. Professional acting, singing and dancing, set to wickedly clever lyrics. Super entertainment - don't miss it.... full review

Divorced Studio City homemaker Ashley Tribbiani has a shot at being picked as one of TV’s Real Housewives Of Studio City. There’s only one problem. As any reality TV fan will tell you, a real Housewife needs to have a real Housekeeper, and with ex-hubby Joey seriously in arrears on his alimony and child support payments, Ashley has hardly been able to hire help since their split. Now, with her Real Housewives audition only an hour away, Ashley (Lani Shipman) and gay best friend Scot (Ryan O’Connor) have exactly sixty minutes to hire the best maid possible out of ten of TVland’s most famous housekeepers. Fortunately, the Hollywood Fringe Festival has allotted precisely one hour for Joe Green, Heidi Powers, Tom Moore to debut their brand ne... full review

This tribute to late twentieth century family values sitcoms perfectly realizes its ambitions as an homage to the genre and its own complete work of musical theatre satire. The trick that the creative team has mastered is the genre's structure. A sympathetic loving family has a challenge that they must conquer in thirty minutes or less and it must result in a win-win situation for everyone. Heidi Powers and Tom Moore turn in a clever and fast-paced musical review that not only stays true to the essence of these classic television characters but also provides a familiar yet fun plot trajectory. Ryan Bergmann's staging is as clean and deft as those iconic episodes. He beautifully elicits a unified integrity from his ensemble throughout.... full review

This was fantastic! I enjoyed the humor, the music was fun, and this is theater at its most real, actors are practically in conversational distance, no mics needed. You feel like they're talking to you only, that you're not in an audience. I love the sort of "I learned something" at the end, too. Really wish I could come see it again before it ends. ... full review

A lady must choose domestic help from among TV Land's finest. This is slightly more compelling than it sounds. The music is strong and the cast sings well. The book doesn't quite live up. fringeblog.webs.com... full review

I may be biased because my play also celebrates this classic tv era in television..but I thoroughly enjoyed this piece. The songs were cute and the performers were on point! I loved the message of the show and appreciated the fact that it wasn't trite or cliche. It was highly original and I wish there were more shows like this onstage! Bravo! P.S. I'm not usually a huge fan of musicals.... full review

Witty, clever, funny, charming. The multiply talented cast give excellent "impressions" of all your favorite TV housekeepers, tied together with a nice story. I hope this piece has a future, and i look forward to hearing what's next from the creators!... full review

The amount of work in such a short period of time alone was astounding. The performance delivered. The plot's main thread could have been stronger, as it served as the foundation for the hilarity that ensued, but having said that, the main thread also was subtle enough to get out of the way of the cast's performance. The songs were intellectually crass, walking the tightrope perfectly between blue, and thought provoking. Tons of fun.... full review
