Demystifying magic was a most excellent show. A great blend of storytelling, magic, showmanship and superior acting. Bob takes us on a man's journey and creates some very memorable and emotional moments. I am so glad I made the time to come out and see this show. I hope there will be another opportunity in the future to see it again. ...

Great story told with magic. Gebert takes the audience through a magicians rise and fall while awing you with feats of magic and mentalism....

This is a wonderful show, and I've never seen one quite like it. It's a one-man show, but not a series of unrelated character vignettes; rather, it's a cohesive, very well acted biography of a famous magician (a historical one? I don't know...doesn't really matter)...complete with a succession of expertly and artfully executed magic tricks (sleight of hand, illusions, mentalism...the whole nine yards!) I can't imagine how Bob Gebert does it: he is able to portray the joys and tragedies of this character's life at the same time that he is performing flawless magic. It's an amazing performance...one that shouldn't be missed....

Demystifying Magic was equal parts story, magic, and social commentary. I didn't stop smiling from the first to last of it. Bob ever so gently and expertly draws the audience in with the story and magic. And despite the fact that he's the only one we see, there are other characters that are present through Bob's words and interactions. I liked this so much that I wish you would do it again, Bob. ...
