Michael Fisher and Pat Towne do it again! A fun, great musical that has a story within a story within a story. A really TALENTED cast with great songs and comedy. I don't think I'll be scared next time I see the film. This show exorcised any fear I have of horror films by turning my fear into laughter. Check it out!!!...

On a positive note, Laura Sperrazza has a helluva voice and didn't hold back in her performance. I'd love to see her in something else. Jimmy Swan, did a fine job as well, when his microphone worked. This show was all over the map. If the show had just focussed on a parody of The Exorcism, the show might have been more tolerable, but as it stood, the audience sees three unfinished thoughts in one play. It's too long, the direction is not so much tongue-in-cheek as it is finger-up-the-audience's-ass. Maybe critical editing would have remedied the 4 endings, the unexplained relationship jumps, and the unearned crassness. This kind of sloppy theater is why people are afraid to go to live theater in LA. ...

I agree with many in that I definitely was expecting a different show when I went in the theatre.
I was expecting a more straightforward parody of the Exorcist. Perhaps I should have put more weight in the reading the last word of the title(Experiment). Pleasant surprise though, although surprising- the direction this piece takes offers up a more humorous perspective to the source material through the journey of Orgasmico's Theatre Troupe.
There was some awesome fucking belting, and some fucking as well....

I had heard mixed things about EXORCISTIC so I came in somewhat skeptical, but within five minutes I was a total rock musical groupee, following every actor and every word with GLEE. There, I said it; it's gleeful. It's funny. It's smart. It's meta and magical and will make you laugh harder than you have laughed all year. (Think SPRING AWAKIENING meets ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW.) Michael Shaw Fisher has based his book - at times quite literally - on the movie THE EXOCIST. So if you were offended by the language in that, you will be offended by this. But take a leap of faith and see something that is everything the Fringe is supposed to be....

Michael Shaw Fisher told me to bring my demons- I was happy to do so- and my mother insisted I bring a rosary for myself and my date. She was very surprised that a younger generation wouldn't be too scared of The Exorcist to make a musical parody. I guess you could say I'm more one to follow a bit of very pertinent advice- "Make peace with your demons!"
I loved this musical. The rock soundtrack was quite pleasant, and wow, what a surprisingly marvelous and powerful voice on Laura Sperrazza! I liked how the show began, too- as though there weren't a beginning.
As I told director Pat Towne afterward, I, as a Catholic and participant in other religions besides- some of which may or may not involve contact with demons- thought the show did...

I had no idea what to expect, although I've been pleasantly surprised by Fringe shows in the past. This was f'ing spectacular! The songs were smart, funny, and dirty. The singing and acting were over the top! Ms. Sperrazza made a wonderful possessed girl!...
