World Premiere

These three original pieces were written, directed, and performed by recent graduates of the Art of Acting Studio Professional Conservatory. Developed in 2018 as a classroom project, each is an artistic and creative exploration of the life of a notable person throughout history.

It's 1981! The corpse of DISCO, flames of PUNK, plastic smell of NEW WAVE, and balls of ROCK 'N' ROLL, all converge and merge on a seemingly peaceful street in WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA, along with the stories of a 12-YEAR-OLD BOY raised by a PILL-POPPING SINGLE MOTHER and the many GAY MEN in their life.

On a ranch in Nevada, Grant Wilson rules a made-up nation through empty shows of power and ridiculous propaganda, with his family as his only subjects. When his son takes the mission too far and his daughter questions everything, Grant fights for control in the face of family, country, and reality.
