Once again Chris Farah brings the story of our favorite prostitute, Ms. Fancy Jean Baker, to life in her new show being staged at the newly renovated Three Clubs. This show is a must see. Check out the rest of my review on Examiner.com....

Tuesday night (July 23), I finally got to see this incredible show, winner of the DOMA Theatre Award for Best Musical. It was more fun than should be legally allowed.
For the record, I am not a fan of Pokemon or of anime in general, but I still found the show very entertaining. On the other hand, my step-son, Martin, is a big fan of both. I haven't seen him laugh that hard since the last time he watched America's Funniest Home Videos.
While the entire cast was magnificent, I have to giv...

I finally got to check out one of the plays I really wanted to see during the Fringe, but could never fit into my schedule, Scott K. Ratner's hilarious comedy romp, Kill a Better Mousetrap. In a word, it gave King Phycus a run for the best comedy of 2013.
Wonderfully directed by Eisabeth Graham Elliot, with Tzipora Reman ably acting as stage manager, Kill a Better Mousetrap is the perfect homage to Dame Christie's landmark play. With Laura M. Hathaway as the Analyst, Craig Woolson as a cast ...

I really had no idea what to expect from this show, and was pleasantly surprised at the depth of humor contained in it. Both actors were amazing in their multiple roles, but truly shined when they were the evil twins. My sides hurt from laughing at their antics. This is a wonderful show - don't miss it!...

I'm right there with Michael Shaw Fisher. Normally, I'd just let the negativity roll off my back, but these detractors were so personally vindictive, that I can't stay quiet.
I have been a part of the Fringe since the first year in 2010. I have personally seen more than 200 shows, and have written reviews on every one, both here on the Fringe website and on Examiner.com.
As a member of the press, I wasn't sure how much the community of actors and technicians would accept me, but accept me...

This was a visual triumph of dance, movement and visuals - not to mention the stunning performances of the lead actress and the entire cast. The direction was tremendous and enabled the show to accomplish its purposes - I left the show very moved and better understanding what the stroke victim must have felt like....

This was the most complete ensemble show I have ever seen. They took a classic play and reinvented it, bringing it kicking and screaming into a new age of theatergoers and converted it to a hip fun romp. Well done!...

As a fan of writer Peppur Chambers, this play had been high on my to-do list. Peppur has her finger on the pulse of the people, and has written a timeless romantic comedy that gives hope to all of us.
Due to the unprofessionalism of actress Nina Donato, who quit the show after Friday's performance, Peppur was forced to step into the role of Mary, Jayne's mom. Considering the limited time she had to prepare, Peppur did a superb job in the role. But the stars of the show were Dick and Jayne, ...

This show is perfect for families with small kids, as that seems to be the target audience. However, for a professional theater critic and a discerning audience, it was not up to the professional standards we're used to at other Fringe shows. The kids showed great promise, and with a little more work, could be ready for Fringe . . . in a few more years. For now, continue to work on your craft....

This was an amazing work of art, from the set design to the pre-show staging, all the way to the stunning climax. I loved everything about it (except the lack of air conditioning in the building), especially the brilliant direction of Amanda McRaven. This is a must see!...
