Twas a breath of fresh Shakepearean air. YAY!
Let me start out by saying that I am very picky w/my Shakespeare. And Romeo & Juliet has NEVER been one of my favorites. The young lovers always come across so whiney -- but NOT here! THANK YOU!
Performing the Bard since I was 6 & diving into his works as soon as I was old enough to read-- tis very hard to find a quality production of Shakespeare in this town. Usually either the actors don't understand what they are saying OR ...

LOVED THIS!!
To be honest -- from the moment I heard the title, I knew I was gonna see this show. And the performance was just as good, if not better!
So incredibly heartfelt & funny -- Skalsky's retelling of his life experiences is genuine & sooo refreshing. He had both me & my husband laughing from start to finish. No need for any fancy bells & whistles, just him. A definite MUST SEE in my book! :) ...

Brilliant!
Where to even begin --- just WOW! Pollak is a true artist, using her entire body to transform from character to character like pure comedic poetry. She doesn't complicate things & the audience can't help but go with her thru all the twists & turns. An absolute MUST SEE!!! Bravo... & Slainte'! ;)
