Go see it! It's the perfect type of show that plays well at the fringe festival. Fun, short, and a reminder of what theater and performance truly can be!...

I wish I could select more amazing than "Amazing". We sat in the front row, and I had no idea what I was in for. The actors were compelling, the set was perfect, and the lighting created such an environment that completely engulfed you. I want to rave about the ending, but do not want to give anything away. It was clearly hands down, the best ensemble dramatic piece I have ever seen at Fringe, and one of the best pieces of theatre I have seen in a long time. Much applause to a well talented team...

What a performance! I was very impressed. Darin truly did a masterful job of writing and starring in this one man show. I had not read any reviews or descriptions about the play, other than that he played many different characters with original monologues along with a few classic Shakespeare monologues. I was better for not knowing too much about it before attending, because towards the end, when I realized who the main character actually was, everything fell into place. I got goosebumps many tim...

So much great comedy, physicality, choreography, music and costume changes made this show a surprise hit to me. I loved the documentary, and figured I would enjoy this show, but I LOVED it! The cast worked so hard to bring the comedy! I laughed the entire time. The cast was suburb! This is definitely a MUST SEE show… To squeeze out every last drop of hilarity from this show, definitely check out the documentary before attending!...

I loved this show!! It was hilarious and surprised me the entire time! I am a huge Aliens fan, and I was extremely pleased with the treatment of the xenomorph in this show. Fantastic costumes, props, and acting, truly made this a wonderful experience for an 80s fan like myself. I loved the inside jokes and nods to the classic franchise, as well as all of the great musical theatre moments that we all know and love! Without a doubt in my mind, this has been the most fun I have ever had at a Hollywo...

I was quite thrilled to see an all female cast portray The Taming of the Shrew with a unique twist, and successfully pull it off! I had never seen anything like it. Very strong women with very strong choices really made this ensemble piece entertaining and comedic for the entire audience, and a welcome addition to this year's Fringe Festival. ...

Shock Treatment was an engaging look at what it would be like to reconnect with someone you knew from high school after 20 years. Many of us do wonder what it would be like… probably awkward. I thought the venue, iO West, was the perfect place, because the audience felt like they were in this lounge type environment, as the high school band played onstage and the two girls shared a few drinks and a few stories. Their fast paced, humorous banter kept the show moving along at a good pace. I kept th...

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this show. I know some of the actors and crew, which is what caught my attention to attend the performance last night. I liked the four short one acts that all dealt with trees as a main character, which got me thinking about emotions, personalities, and the types of situations that humans deal with everyday, and how the tree characters had the same moments too. Entertaining. There's lots of performances, which is great, because certainly one of them can fit ...

This show was very engaging and enjoyable! It's basically a man reciting a Shel Silverstein poem in such a great and unique way of combining music and acting to really draw in the audience into this twisted story. The setting at 3 Clubs was a perfect venue for this intimate poem of a man gambling with the devil....

I had a good time last night at the premiere of Eric Kochmer's film, "WAY DOWN IN CHINATOWN" at Theater Asylum. It was a very strange and bizarre film, and was a perfect selection to be part of Hollywood Fringe 2013! I think what I really responded to was the art direction and cinematography. The Black & White film noir was visually great. If you missed the screening, check it out. - (Parry-Riposte Films, Director/Editor)
*I have continued to go to the WMM screenings, and I am 4/4 so far. Rea...
